Lambda Legal FREE CLE (.5 ethics)
Upcoming *FREE* CLE opportunities regarding Security Identity documents for your transgender clients. It does not matter where you, or your friends, family or clients who identify as transgender are located in our state – this is applicable to anyone that is located in Texas. This CLE is geared toward lawyers, but if you want to join us to learn about what this process looks like in Texas, then you are more than welcome to join. The CLE includes .5 hours of ethics credit! Lambda Legal will be holding approximately two of these a month through October. See the remaining dates below. We are limiting the number of participants per CLE to 25 so that folks can ask questions. We will also likely begin posting these on our Lambda Legal Dallas Facebook page as well. But if you want to win the holiday trivia contest, make someone sing karaoke, or participate in the Great Stonewall Bakeoff, make sure to bring a little extra walking around money. All ticket prices and donations go to supporting our ELA Scholarship Fund, providing Houston area law students and recent graduates scholarships to help ensure the next generation of LGBT lawyers hits the ground running. UPDATE 1: We’re happy to announce that there will be karaoke–with a twist! Feel free to make a small donation to the ELA Scholarship fund and sing to your heart’s content!
