FriendsGivingMas – Scholarship Fundraiser and Holiday Party

Join us all on December 5, 2022 for the first inaugural FriendsGivingMas scholarship fundraiser and holiday party. This year, FriendsGivingMas is being generously hosted by one of Houston’s LGBT community leaders, Bradshaw Carter. Complementary valet, food, and drinks are all included with your ticket. But if you want to win the holiday trivia contest, make someone sing karaoke, or participate in the Great Stonewall Bakeoff, make sure to bring a little extra walking around money. All ticket prices and donations go to supporting our ELA Scholarship Fund, providing Houston area law students and recent graduates scholarships to help ensure the next generation of LGBT lawyers hits the ground running.
- UPDATE 1: We’re happy to announce that there will be karaoke–with a twist! Feel free to make a small donation to the ELA Scholarship fund and sing to your heart’s content! Or chose to throw some shade and make someone else get up and sign a song of your choice. But watch out, your target can pay to pass the song along–or to send it right back to you! So make sure to come armed with small, non-consecutively numbered bills and a list of songs you know aren’t in anyone’s range.
