DESCRIPTION:Hello friends!! \n  \nWe are hosting a Trot for Trans Lives next Sunday\, June 11th in Houston with Cal Dobs. They are doing a Trans Continental Run from LA to Florida to raise awareness about trans sports ban and the bans on gender-affirming care for minors. We are thrilled that Cal will be here to lead the Trot portion of the event. Our Clinic President\, Pete Makopoulos-Sentfleber will lead the walk portion with his wife\, Amy\, and their son\, MIlo. \n  \nThere is an in-person option to Trot/Walk/Stroll the 5k (3.1 miles) with us and a virtual option if you can’t make it. The 5k is family friendly\, including leashed dogs! \n  \nWe will get started at 10 am with a couple of quick talks and start the Trot at 10:30! \n  \nThe Trot will start at The Houston Holocaust Museum. Huge thanks to the Museum and The Boniuk Center for hosting the kick-off! \nWe will walk around a portion of Hermann Park and then up Crawford Street over to La Branch and end at Axelrad Beer Garden. Axelrad is happy to play host to our cool down party\, there will be food trucks and a drink special for the event.
